In the year of God 1521, Pope Leo X issued a bull that said Rome must never remain in darkness. Five centuries later, bad weather caused one of the power plants to malfunction. In order to eliminate the damage, the electricity supply had to be turned off for a day. And Rome was engulfed in darkness, awakening evil. At dawn, local residents heard the message from transistor receivers: "We captured Rome, Rome is ours. The defenders of the law and the forces of law and order have already moved to our side." Meanwhile, amid the chaos and panic, the shadow of a ruthless serial killer silently moves through the city, leaving clues for Marcus and Sandra. But will the anomaly expert and former photo investigator be able to identify the monster?
