With the outbreak of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, hundreds of Ukrainian writers and journalists joined the Armed Forces or began active volunteer work to support the army. Those who were used to changing the world with their texts were forced to defend their country. Words and Bullets is a series of conversations with people who have been creating the Ukrainian literary process and developing Ukrainian journalism for years, and who have now turned from storytellers into subjects of stories – those who protect our present and make our future possible.
