How can you see Ukraine from the window of a suburban train? Pavlo Steh traveled around the perimeter of the country, documenting a reality that intertwines anecdotes about the Soviet Union, smuggling, vodka with tomato juice, noisy children, taxi drivers, punks, popular songs from the 1990s, and, of course, rust as part of the landscape of suburban stations that sew the country together with thin threads.
